No more than 5 one way. I drove 64 miles round-trip in my redtop everyday for a year... I can't tell you how many times the canuter valve hit the tressel rod and caused a left-handed smoke shift pattern. Keep it to about ten miles a day and heat build-up shouldn't be a problem.

Ya'll are mean. As long as the Cam gear timing is turned back .45 degrees with a 25mm spacer he should be fine.

I am such a noob for not knowing what the spacer supposed to do...

But, the truth of SR engine is that it is weak as hell and really sentative that you can only run it when it is the perfect time during the day which is 4:20 for as long as you want.

The other myeth is that SR engine run so bad in Japan that the Japanese put KAs in the 240sx and like all their other cars during the 90s. So be warned.

OP: Make another thread, but be clearer. Is it rebuilt? Did you just build the motor? Did you just put the motor in the car? What car is it in? What exactly is the motor? Technically the S14/S15 motors are blacktops as well as the later S13 ones.
