if you are going to spend the time and money on pistons and cams, you might as well go with a set of aftermarket cams. you won't see real huge gains with just ITR cams. Make sure to invest in some dyno time and a good tune.

i dont think there'd be much diff. between the ITR and the P72 piston, well, comp. wise if your gonna open up the engine might as well do like B16 pistons(still runs good pump gas) if your gonna do this on a budget and try to keep it reliable dont even touch the bottom end lots of ppl make good power on stock GSR bottom just work on how your engine(head) flows thats how u make power u cant just up the comp.:no: Get like Stage 1 cams(PRO1's make decent power), good INT. manifold, T. Body, good headers, (165-175hp) and a good ass tune......thts my:2cents:

Just save up your money and boost it. You will never be satisfied with a N/A honda.

i think i will be happy... b/c i have a family i have to support now too and so i wouldn't want to spend that much on the motor....but thanks though..

i would go with p30 pistons for a little more compression and some after market cams

Haha So true. Cuz anything below 300whp isn't enough...

And not only that, everything Honda has already beem tried and tested several times over and over again. They are reliable and can be fast, but doesn't anyone want to be slightly different...

When you say you have a GSR db8, do you mean that it still has the original B17 in it or do you have a B18C1 swap. This will help determine what pistons to go with when trying to figure out C/R. Later.

db8= 94-01 gsr sedan= b18c1

db2= 92-93 gsr= b17

if you got a family to support keep it stock unless that is (your) second car cause remember SH!T HAPPENS and when SH!T HAPPENS things get difficult
