so last night a ran a buddies modded sti from a dig in my s2k...lol




mmk so we're at a red light with black ix behind me and our buddy with an sti pulls up next to me. so i tell him i want to run him since he wont run me on the highway :gay:

anyways light turns green and i had a good launch i look in my mirror and i have about a car on him i keep going and i had to led off at about 75ish 80mph i say i had maybe car and 1/2 maybe 2 cars on him lol.


obviously he's not the best at launching his car but still

And where did you hear that from? I didnt break anything. My clutch just went out so I was just saving and bought a built 5 speed and did it all at the same time.

so my buddy with the sti got flashed and we did acouple more runs last night. I finally got my kdw's so i had a little more traction this time.

-15mph run i had him up to third gear then he put about 1/2 car on me

-40mph and he put a car on me (he brake boosted)

then we did 2 dig runs. the first one he got the jump and i wasnt ready so i launched my car at like 3,500k he put almost a car on me.

then we ran from a dig at a stop light and i put a car 1/2 on him immidiatly and he just let off when i was at the top of 2nd gear.

20-30whp is a better estimate at the absolute greatest. But his close to 1000lb weight deficit should make it more fair. The two cars trap the same and run the same times stock if driven right..

They must be more overrated because U.S spec M3's are rated at 240 and put down 205-225 stock. I figured they'd put down similar hp numbers..atleast over 200

they make 238hp at the crank, so im guessing about 205-210ish to the wheels.

From a dig he pulls me around a car to a car and a half, plus the s2 has a weak differential so I try not to go from a dig. Actual time attack events FTW G could never touch the S.

I wanna see what your s2k can do on the highway. I wont go from a dig though, I cant launch it. Wrx's have weak tranny's, the only thing your boy with the STI needs to worry about breaking is axles, their tranny is damn near unbreakable.
