ok so ive had the game since it came out (for xbox 360)
and for some reason i have never been able to do the online play? but i can do the party mode with some friends but thats it?
then yesterday everytime i turn on my xbox its says play dvd?
so i have to put in a different game then take it out and put back in GTA IV and then it works..
maybe its just my xbox or something but anyone else have any problems like this?:thinking:

i think it might be because i had to go with a wireless connection for my 360?

Wow no clue. Thus far I haven't even one problem with the game (360)... *knocks on wood*

i cant play unranked online it just freezes. ranked works fine though

Trade in your 360 for a PS3.

I havent had any issues out of mine yet (ps3) so I dont know what that guy above was talking about, what glitches?

Mine froze once (Ps3) but I blew like 30 different things up at once with cops everywhere lol! GTA terroism is that ****

idk what to tell you man. could just be the server or something. i havent had a problem yet.

yeah it seems like ever since i got the wireless adapter for the 360 the live4 is just kinda actin up?

GTA has always been a glitchy game every since Gta3 on ps2... But its minor things...

but as far as 360 no probs for me, except it froze once..

i really think its your router. if your running several computers in addition to your xbox it will lag you out and kick you off constantly try bumping your mtu settings to the max and that should cure your problem. if it doesnt it's XBL not oyu.
