So I don't have Frank's or your number and I don't know either of your names on here so this was the only way I could do it. We were only able to get one good run in (atleast I thought it was a good run). Went from a 60 roll, both jumped at the same time on the 3rd honk and made it up to about 125mph. But, you said your car takes atleast 3 seconds for the power to really kick in. I don't know anything about mercedes but we were on it for atleast 6 seconds and I was ahead by about a car (on video), but I really want to run you again and this time you can have the jump if you want. How about a 40 roll to whenever we see one pulling from the other, and then whatever roll you want. All in fun though, you're a cool guy and it was great meeting you. Frank if you read this send me the vid, thanks!

Most underrated car from the factory. They "claim" 493hp when in reality they make around 450-480+ to the tires. Much faster than the 55's. 11's on street tires bone stock. I believe Car and Driver tested one 0-60 3.7 and 11.7@120+. The guy who was driving that car was a dealer and it was for sale for 79k. I imagine he won't have it long.

He said it had 600 hp, but I thought only the sl65 AMG's came w/ that much hp. This one wasn't even an AMG.

I think the sl600 is just v12 and the sl65amg is v12 twin turbo. I could be wrong tho.

both are twin turbo V12's. Sl65 just has more balls.
SL600
Rated at 493hp/500+ trq
SL65
Rated at 614hp/738tq

In actuality the SL600's actually dyno right around what they are rated at the crank. They are really underrated alot. I've seen 600's and 65's run the same times at the strip..until slicks are put on.
The older SL600's were all N/A 322-380ish HP V12's depending on the year. Those were 14 second cars.

That's what me and sl33p3r thought because on the sl65 that we both saw had bi-turbo written under the v12 symbol on the side of the car and the plastic covering over the motor, but this one just had v12. I looked it up on google and I couldn't find anything about a non turbo v12 sl600, they were all twin turbo's. I guess the fact that they weigh 5,800lbs (what he told me) has something to do with it:boobies:
