jackas$es like that are the people who make bikes run off the road...if you dont have the suspension to go fast and stay in your own goddanm lane on a fuking two lane road then don't drive like a jackas$. Dumb ****. (green civic)

Very good point! Maybe not how I would have worded the reply but yes stay in your own lane. Cars and bikes are both guilty of this... The other thing you have to think about is all the people who ride bicycles up there. I think they are crazy for riding a bicycle on curvy road where there is a known issue with speeders but that does not mean they do not have a right to be there.

sorry i got a little heated but do not retract my statements yes it could have been worded different but maybe i made my point. Yes both are guilty of the not staying in your own lane...but those riders are the ones that eventually do bite it and those are the drivers that eventually push the car too far and bite it as well

While i cant completely disagree with you about crossing double yellows, when i do it i am very selective about when and where i do it. my car's suspension is more than adequate to drive the mountains as i have been doing for 8 years now. please take a look again at that picture and see how much visibility there is around the turn even in that picture and that i was in no way endangering others.

but i will openly invite you to go on a run and see if you can drive half as good as you run your mouth about people you dont know. thanks

Look im not trying to sound like a douche but honestly I do not care about your driving skill. Have you ever seen a bike pop out of nowhere and be like **** where did that **** come from.

and Why the **** would I want to go run the mountains with you....I've never been and honestly can wait to go until I find a group of responsible riders or just go by my damned self.

Im sorry I offended you, but I've heard of aswell as seen too many bikes go down recently.

I was a first responder in dahlonega on that "said mtn. above" and have witnessed many motorcycle accidents. From my exp. in dahlonega most of our motorcycle accidents were from inexperienced riders who were pushing themselves to hard and washed out.

But anywho.. this thread lost its point/purpose on the first page so unfortunately i smell thread failure due to someones unwanted opinion!

Let me know Ron, Brad, Nathan, and everyone else up in dahlonega if you see a cheap lil honda (pref. a ef 4 door) sitting for sale in someones yard. I will have the folks go buy and pick it up for me!

i just don't understand someone coming on here and telling other pple what they can and can't do......i to live in dahlonega(when not on lovely military expeditions) and if i trust anyone to drive it would be Chris........go jack up someone else's thread......

as for the crx.....i remember working on that thing because the guy who had it could not get it to run for ****........

Damn I wish i was home.....i love the mountains

Ive helped pull more people on bikes out of ditches than you could believe. Ive had groups of 10+ bikes pass me on double yellows toward blind turns, ive had bikes lowside and slide in front of me and nearly run over them, then hop back on whats left of their bike and ride a wheelie away. Ive had bikes cut me off and pull out in front of me.

That being said accidents can happen anywhere, and everywhere i go i give the same respect to bikes as i do cars. So to get on here, generalize that since there is one picture of me on yellow lines that i am a bike killer isn't really fair or called for.
