Its hard to tell. What are the symptoms? If you think it is the relay, Just resolder the contacts.

when i turn to the ON position, i dont hear the humming from the fuel pump. the check engine light doesnt come on for a few seconds then click off. and sometimes it will start then die.

you cant tell anything by the bottom. you have to cut the Solder off and open the Case up. Then you will See the Contact in there. If the Contact is Worn Off , You can Fix it by Re soldering it. Which will save you 60-90$$. Since Brand New one from a dealer one is pretty expensive. before you buy a new one check it out and check the resistance on the main relay. and it might not be your main relay from what you say. it can be your Ignition Switch. Check everything before you buy a new thing. hope it helped.

My ef did the same thing. I thought it was the fuel pump because it would sometimes start then die, so i replaced the fuel pump and it didn't fix the problem. I replaced the main relay and it fixed it. I feel extremely confident you just need a new relay

definatly main relay. When I resolder the relays, I solder the contacts you see on the picture. It always fixes them.
