It took me a sec to realize that was a skyline fronted wagon... at a glance it looks like a newish volvo. :P

And the z32 drift is possible... just a PITA. Body flex ftl

You don't see Z32's drifting for a number of reasons. The most prominent being that the Super HICAS makes the car incredibly hard to get, and keep, sideways. Other factors include the car being grossly overweight and underpowered. Drifting also tends to put a lot of strain on cars so you'll find yourself under the hood a lot, which is the last place you want to be if you're a Z32 driver.

Which is why most of the Z32 drifters often swap out the engines for a lighter more reliable motor

basically because of what Ran said. z32 motors can't handle the type of stress that drifting involves mostly so if you see one, it'll probably have another motor in it.

Well, the real reason is b/c it has a short wheel base and is prone to snap oversteer. But you will notice that this one is a 2+2 so it has the longer wheel base. Most of the race cars were built on the 2+2 chassis length but made to look like 2 seaters

hicas was only in the twin turbos btw, the N/As are fine for the casual drifters, or the guys who wanna go out in the rain

the z32 is the s13s jockey older brother, hes beefier and faster, but just not as nimble

Word on the last part... from a dig on a quarter mile, Z32 pwns s chassis cars all day. But autocross/drifting just doesn't do well. Sure you *can* put an RB26 in them or whatever, but it's still a heavy chassis.... if you're gonna put an RB26 in anything, generally the idea is to put it in a chassis that lends itself to drifting.. Z32 chassis is not that lol.

And when the Z32 "big brother" gets pissy at the S13, it just kicks its shins and rubs its face in the dirt lol.

My Hardtop NA was pretty good at being controllable sideways. It never had the ability to snap from side to side like a miata or a 240 can though.

That Stagea is proof wagons are the shiat!
