yea except working out, i dunno if yo ucan do that.

but they have mini games like bowling darts and others i cant think of right now.

i played a game of multiplayer online it was pretty fun.

the coolest thing i like about the game so far is the people in the city. i mean i just randomly saw two cars wreck into each other and ive seen a guy working on his car in the street. you can buy hotdogs from little stand on the sidewalk. it just seems like a real city.

well i bought it just so after im done playing i can get some hints, im not using it untill i beat the game by my self, i hate cheats and stuff... but i got it for free cause i got a huge hook up discount cause i opened some gaming discount card and it gave me like an extra 30% for my two trade ins, so for the game, guide, and a year subscription of game informer i paid like 25 bucks... :D :D :D

I've been playing since sunday (apparently I've had the game since friday, didnt know that though). Im quite a few missions in. They are pretty easy. It seems to have gotten more realistic in that the Army doesnt come after you. But it kinda sucks in that same aspect. That was half the fun jacking a tank and running wild. When you die though its pretty cool. And if you start hitting pedestrians with your car the blood will stay on the car and you can really start "painting" the car red.

No, but I have seen customized versions of certain cars running around.

For example...I've seen the thing that looks like a Range Rover Sport in standard guise and blinged-out-***-rig guise as well.

I've been playing some this afternoon between studying. I found that after you get arrested, when you stary out again there is a guy across the street from the police station that has a shotgun. If you already have a pistol, or you are confident that you can kick his ass quick enough, go take his shotgun. A few times he wasn't there, but most of the time he is.

Where is the chopper? I haven't been able to find it.

well when u are driving in gta, the a button on 360 is the handbrake, but the right button (one above the trigger) is also the handbrake, but when u use that one, it whips out the back end and lets you slide / drift around corners easily... easy to do hard to master tho...

Yeah, the funniest thing I've done thus far was when I was running from the cops. I was just driving (in a 18 wheeler, mind you) and caught some massive air right before a gas station... and then noticed a woman getting ready to get out of her car to fill up. Yeah... I hit the ***** (complete accident, I swear) and sent her flying for a good 30 feet. She didn't stop screaming for like 5 mins. I was dying laughing.

Oh, and I flew through the windsheild and into a telephone pole. Needless to say I respawned at the nearest Hospital.

There are barely any characters from 3 in this one if any... Also the city is completly different, its acutally based on new your this time... Yea, that's pretty much how I feel. At first it's a little akward but once you get aquainted with the game it's the best one so far. (GTA wise)

Once you get the mission with Playboy X, he lives on the second island. I think you meet him at Elizabeta's. You doin the Manny missions right?

Ok from what I have read ya'll are way the hell behind me. I got mine on midnight on Monday and got in about 7 hours of game play that night. Last I checked I'm butting right up against 30 hours of total game play.

My Thoughts:
Overall this is the best game out there. I will probably play this more than I play COD4 and I am already VERY close to beating this. I say this for 2 reasons and I will try to explain without giving too much away.

1. The game simply is addicting. Like the other GTA's before it, even after you have beat the game there are plenty of side missions and things of that sort to keep you entertained.

2. From what I have read ya'll haven't come across this yet but the game while ultimately will probably reach the same conclusion, allows you to choose the course of the story. What I mean is that you have the lives of people in the barrell of your gun. There are several missions where you decide if certian characters live or die.

I can only imagine what the release pack in August will do. Rockstar really hit the nail on the head with this one.

Also I haven't seen the SLR but here is what I have seen worth mentioning

yea i have seen and drove the corvette, ferrari, porsche, slr, and prolly all the others, m3 and all that, just havent seen that hot lambo yet... i just got to the second island last night and went to the heli-tours and took a copter and went to the third island and got 6 stars, and then literally flew around for 15 mins while they were chasing me and doing a VERY bad job about it, i completed the achievment for evading cops at 6 stars for more then 5 mins, and i flew under 11 bridges, i have two more to do, or maybe i flew under 9 and i have 2 more, i forget, but i know i have 2 more to get the achievement for flying under bridges...

The 40 gig PS3 is not backwards compatible, so it will not play any PS2 games. Also the game stores are not going to give you much for your PS2 (maybe 20-30bucks). If you are never going to play PS2 again I would just bundle it and sell it here. You would probably make more selling it than trading it.

damn it seems like i've been playing FOREVER, and i'm only 30% done. I have close to $400,000 already though.

If you want easy money, just find the big bank that is on the middle island (the one you have to rob). Sit outside and an armored truck will ride by sometimes. Blow it up with a RPG and money will fly out everywhere. Sprint around and pick it up. You will not be able to pick it all up before it disappears. I usually pick up around $5k. I don't really hang around the bank, but if I'm ever riding by, I'll look around for the truck. They can be found anywhere on the island.

The guys on the back of the garbage truck, the peoples reactions to events, riding in the car and looking around.

But most of all, the likeness of the city is beyond words. I love it. Feels like I'm back home again.

yea i played it all weekend and totally got side tracked from doing missions once i opened the third island, i have done over like 20 unique jumps. i found a bad ass car behind a garage far north on the third island... is looks like an STI in the front with the hood, it has a carbon fiber hood and trunk and a huge intercooler and if you crash and the hood comes off the engine is red and says twin turbo, and the cool thing is it spits fire when it shifts and u can hear the blow off valve, its loud as ****!

It sounds silly, but I haven't really been impressed with the car's sounds in this game. San Andreas seemed to do those better. There are very few which sound good, or even real...and only a few actually fit the cars. Why does a big-ass 60s/70s-era convertible sound like a vacuum cleaner? :doh:

the more u wear one type of clothes thats when it will change, i wear a suit everywhere, not sure what it says for me tho... im going on 34 hours of playing and 52 % done with the game, lol i love just running around killing people and bull****tin

Yea I finally got the infernus from bernie, drove it for about 20 seconds, and got t-boned at an intersection and spun into the damn ocean...

Does anyone know if there are any spawn points for that vehicle?
