Wow. You really no clue, have you?

Have no clue about what? The fact the car will never be drive and its the biggest WASTE ever. Sure it looks nice but what good is it if it only looks nice in the garage or a showroom.

if it makes someone happy building it how is it a waste?

the same could be said about modding my car, your car, any car.
why make it go XXXhp at XXXpsi? because it makes you happy.

Why wont it ever be driven?

Just cause it's at a car show?

I mean i'm sure it's not a DD but it's a functional drivable car.

I respect the craftsmanship but not my cup of tea. Also I would do everything in power to aviod using a jag rear end in a build. Those brakes suck the **** to change.

My thoughts exactly. Chrome ruins it.

ehh... that doesn't do anything for me. trailer queens are absolutely worthless IMO.

cars are meant to be driven.

So much time and dedication! I couldn't imagine how hard it is to build something like that. Like how careful you have to be putting it together!

Why does everyone keep saying a polished can cleaned car is not gonna ever drive on the street?

FasTech

I like it but I would never buy/build one because its way to much money to spend on something you could never drive that much, not just because its polished, but dumb people hitting it with car doors, it getting stolen, and it would be pretty hard to keep all the chrome nice and shiny... Plus I would be scared I would wreck it or something.

EJ... come on man -- I know you've seen enough of these to know that the only times their wheels roll is to get in/out of the paint booth and trailer.

See that's the problem, you're confusing a cruise with real street driving (taking the car out by yourself just to enjoy the drive. Cruises are just moving car shows...

If you bring it to that level.

Then the other extreme is owning an F1 car and only being able to drive it on the track.

Sure it looks nice but what good is it if it only looks nice in the garage or a showroom. why dont you ask the same question to many ppl on this same forum that have successful purpose built show cars? like that roadster, many of them rarely ever get driven on the street.

The attention to detail is pretty remarkable. It may drive down the road some day, but they'll have to change out those chrome brake rotors.
