alright i have abuilt b20/vtec and right now i have an amuse exhaust sytem witch is very rare and cost me a pretty penny but is only 2i n all the way thru and the headers i have has a 2.5 in flange so i was wondering if it worth it to go ahead and change the exhaust to a 2.5 or 3 in or just leave the 2in on there also will there be any power gians by changing the exhaust yes i am getting it retuned in about a week so i would like to get it done sooner than later if its worth changing and wat is the best brand to use for all motor setup......

mainstream perform. does really good custom full cat-backs;awesome bends that support flow, but how well "built"(flow) is your head/bottom end?? some all-motors make better power out of the 2.75'' than the 2.5''. what brand of headers are u using? alot of cheap(ebay) headers have the 2.5'' collector but do not port match and is smaller then the port size on the head, "those kinds are extreme flow killers". IMO just get a baller header if u dont already from (MR.KIDD) and just do that and the exhaust at one time and re-tune one time-savin some money and time yo...

i already bought those headers and i have port and polished and 5 angle valve job on th eintake side and the ports on the exhaust have also been made bigger so everyhing is port match with intake mani and headers

So you exhaust is 2inch?I kno 2.25 and 2.5 arent that much of a big difference between the two.But exhaust usually you notice a gain from stock to aftermarket.Just dont get it too big and lost backpressure.If your exhaust is 2inch you might be getting too much bp.

t1r is a good choice for a full 2.5 inch ehaust it's just pricey you should be able to have one make for way less. 2.5 inch should plenty for you build

like i told you i would but the Skunk2 Mega Power R its 2.75 an is PERFECT

I ran a 3in exhaust on my B20Vtec

i guess my 3in $200 magnaflow exhaust sucked balls too

i guess the skunk2 i tested that made 20whp sucks too

mr.kidd has a point my exhaust right know is now better than when ppl buy tips and weld them on to there stock exhaust pipping and i spent over 2000 for the exhaust and they spent 100 for the tip and get it welded on performance wise is wat i want to know and i think skunk2 wins just have to wait and sell my titanium one

my skunk 2 sounded good. Didnt sounds like the typical honda. Was deep. But i also had about 2-3 foot of resonator
