Anyone know of any stores that sell used compressors? I found this one on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/60-gal-Air-Compressor-Powermate-Black-Max-BL6006016_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43986QQitemZ4 568486617QQrdZ1#ebayphotohosting

have to drive to florida to get it though

you need to see what reserve is on it, also know that with a used compressor you may be in the same situation you are now in a few weeks. dont forget that compressor you just posted from ebay is a 240 volt one...

Yeah i know its 240...The prob with my old one is that it wasn't getting enough air to it and over heated...I dont think i would drive down to florida to get it anyways...going off to school in the end of september and wont be using it that much...i may just put a new motor in my old one....unless someone can get me a good deal maybe....lol

if its a normal 20 gallon roll around one , then it is a 3.5-5 hp motor, which means it can be replaced for about 100 bucks at northern.. and its local :)

Awesome! Thanks. Are they pretty easy to install?

hardest part is getting the pully set on there correctly, the only other thing is, if its a "integrated" motor or however they sold it its not so easy to fix. if it is a decent compressor it will have a pump and a motor as 2 seperate parts..
