But it is annoying especially on items that I don't see why anyone else would want, or how they would just decide.

I honestly think people that are friends or relatives, or even the sellers themselves bid it up at the end.

Haha, I don't use ebay a whole lot. But whenever I do, I never put a bid in until right before the auction is over. So I'm that douchenozzle sometimes :(
