G35 if you want to show off a bit, a S2K if you want a screamer and E46 M3 or S4 if you want kick some a*s. Of course, all purposes described are inter-changeable depending on how deep your pockets are. The TSX is too mild .. you won't be taken seriously.. :D
Edit:
If it were my money, I'd buy a not-too-high-mileage G35 for $20ish and spend the rest on mods. For the others, you'll definitely be over-extending your budget if big ticket mods are of any concern.
my only car is an s2000 and will prbably be the only car i ever own again, its a sick ride man...

S2000
I don't really see an S2000 being a good daily driver...at all. I'd say stick to something with four doors. Like you listed, 3 series, IS300, G35 Sedan, Audi S4 or even a newer A4. I mean the MR2 is your toy right? So this DD doesn't need to be screaming fast.

well i really dont give a **** about practicallity, and can only afford one car right now, so i picked this, if i could choose a daily driver and also afford it i would totally have a bottom of the line fit. those things sell like hot cakes and r cool little cars with awesome gas mileage.
