So I've been out of the car thing for a while but I'm slowly working my way back in. I want to start putting some money in my car so I'll share my ideas (and dreams) with you because I have nothing better to do right now:

1. Paint RX7 high gloss black.
2. Get some dope, green (possibly another color, maybe chrome deep dish) wheels
3. Nice lookin kit (like the one pictured but without the headlights)
http://www.versionselect.com/images/dylan3.jpg
4. T04z (or something less haha)
5. Conservative sound system (but still fiberglassed)

Option two would be a Candy Apple red paint on chrome wheels

BOTH WOULD BE SLAMMED TO THE FLOOR, lol

I NEED TO PS SOME PICS FOR A GOOD REFERENCE

If you are thinking about making a derogatory comment about the kit or wheels, this is not a thread for you, and more likely then not you're not really into tuning for the same reason as me.

I STILL need to buy another SA22. After I get moved.

BTW, with a kit similar to that, DEF. Chrome 0 offset wheels on a black car. Ultimate FC sexuality. I actually like the headlights, too.

Any ideas? I plan on just using this for fun, slowly putting money in it while I daily drive something else (kinda want an M3) I really want to keep this car. Even though it's not the best car in the world, it is mine. I've put so much time learning all of it's little quirks that I really would hate to see it go. Plus I would have to try to explain everything to the next owner. Like the trick to get the sunroof closed or how to put it in reverse, haha and now I do all these things without having to think (even do them in other people's cars when I don't need to)

I love customizing cars though, you just don't get the same satisfaction from anything else. You get to take something that starts off as a run of the mill car and turn it in to whatever you can imagine. Granted it's still just the run-of-the-mill car underneath but a Picasso is just a canvas under all the paint...

An e36 m3 would be nice, u could mod it to handle and look tight. the rx7 from what I heard from friends are a pain in the ass to keep on the road. Much like a z32. although ur idea on how you want to make your car look, is a good one, I would just go big on something else, i mean, if u wanna spend money on a car atleast have a car thats worth it. lol like my hatch, i only have simple bolt ons, its my daily. and im saving up for an s2000, ill spend ALOT more money on that u know?

soooo...what you're saying is an RX7 is NOT a sports car, while an e36 BMW is?

That's about ass backwards if I've ever heard it.

personally i dont think the older model rx7's could be considered a "sports" car but to each his own.

I wasn't trying to knock your opinion, I'm just saying speaking from a purist definition, any Rx7 is definitely a sports car. Most TRUE sports cars don't make a crap ton of power, they're lightweight, nimble two seaters, typically RWD. They're not huge, fast Naziboats. M3's are nice, and fast, but not what I would call a sports car. SportY? Sure, for a luxury car.
