Speedometer is stuck at 20 mph no matter if I'm at 0 or 80 and all places in between...this sounds like the VSS right? where can I find a cheap one?

no one to swap with and I'm not gonna buy another one just to see if that's the problem

i think that the vss usually cuts the tach out. so does it still work?

it doesn't just sit at 0 but it sits at like 18 mph no matter what. like 1 out of ten times I drive the car it works normally

maybe a short in the wiring or something. id swap clusters and see if it just the cluster also.

i had a problem with my speedo in my 93 hatch. worked sometimes and sometimes it didnt but all i did was find a car in the junk yard and pull the cluster. take the cover off the front and there should be 3 screws holding the actual speed part of the cluster in just take those out and change that part. its alot cheaper than the whole cluster :goodjob:

keep it, if you were to get pulled for a speeding ticket, just tell the cop you were going to a mechanic to see if you can get it fixed

f uck that. dont speed no ticket. that problems solved.

i still think its something in the cluster/gauge its self.
