Well Nichole really liked the Toy Box that I built for Kira (our granddaughter).

Tell me what ya think. Remember this was built from Poplar 1x6's and all I used was a skill saw, table saw, cheesy sander and a Ryobi $59 router. I know I suck @ woodwork but I did my best on this.

We are still patiently awaiting for Kira to arrive. ;)

I honestly don't ever care to do that again unless I get some real wood working tools. That lil thing took me close to 20 hours to complete including the stain, clear coat, etc.

I think I will stick with thinking on cars and killing bugs. :goodjob:

It might have taken you a long time. But just think of how much your granddaughter will love it growing up. In the end, it was worth it for you to give your granddaughter her first gift and she isn't even here yet (unless since first post date).

Not here yet but we are patiently awaiting her arrival.

The due date is actually this Sunday but 2 weeks ago the doc told her any day.

Kira was born yesterday @ 442 PM. Yeah I know it is a GM thing already. :)

She is beautiful and will be coming home tomorrow am.

Congratulations, hope being a granddad works out well for you.

God, I can't even imagine being a Father right now much less a grandfather, yikes.

Thanks everyone... I am very young to be a Grandfather but loving every minute of it. We already have the chrome moly for her first Jr. Dragster and starting the plans for it very soon.
