oh the irony on this one
MARIETTA, Ga. -- A pig that caused traffic to slow on I-75 near Highway 5 in Cobb County Thursday morning was later euthanized because the injuries sustained during a fall from a livestock truck were too severe, officials said.
Astonished motorists discovered a pig in the median. Police received 15 calls into the 911 center with reports that the pig had fallen off of a southbound livestock truck.

The pig, reportedly wandering free in the median, was later tethered to a guardrail until two Marietta police officers arrived -- one of whom ended up using his Taser gun to subdue it.
Officials said the officer shocked the animal when it became aggressive and tried to bite them as the police officers and an animal control officer tried to put it into the animal control truck.
After getting shocked, the pig became immobilized and was finally lifted into the truck. It was then taken to Animal Control to be treated for the broken leg, but was later put down.
