Custom Car Audio Car Show and SPL Comp.

Custom Car Audio in Hiram is having a car show May the 24th. There will be an SPL competition and multiple classes for the show portion. It will be held in front of the store which is in the Kroger shopping center in Hiram. Entry fee for the show will be $15 per car and $10 for SPL. If you want to do both it will be $20. Looking is free and encouraged. There will be classes for Import, Domestic, Classic Domestic, Truck, and Bike. The show is sponsored by the Atlanta chapter of Street Innovations. Come on out and show us what you've got.

Paulding County. Just get on 278 and head towards Alabama. Once you go through Powder Springs its about 10 miles down the road.

Whoops. I thought I put that in the original post. It starts at 1 and goes till 8. You really only have to bring your car and they put some sensors in it and then you crank your volume up. You have to play the cd that they give you though.

yeah, i might enter both then. i know my sub and amp can push more than i am right now, but i need to get some better high sounds or they will drown out. lol my parents own 2 car stereo shops in ohio and have tons of trophies and titles in spl and sql. i've just never run my car. might want to see what it's doing now. i know how spl is done, just wasn't sure if there was anything i needed to do to my car. i went to world finals in nashville last year for mecca with them. do you know what the rules for the spl are gonna be and where they will be placing the mic?

If they are using the Term-lab I will try to find a sub I can use with my amp for the day, if not, its not worth it. If I am in town I may show up and show though.

Awards will be handed out as soon as judging is done. Right now we dont have a time frame cause we dont know how many cars will show up but we are hoping to have them out by 5.

f'n rain. i planned on getting off work, coming home and attacking the car to get it clean. the minute my ass hit the seat to drive home it started pooring out of no where. so now i'm in the garage doing everything i can. i guess in the morning i'll wash it and clean up the outside. this place is 10 minutes from my house. Also there probably arent going to be any more bagged SUV's, or even heavily customized SUV's there so I'll get first place with little to no competition. Hell, the last 3 local shows I've been to with a class I would realisticly fall into I got first place without even washing the truck.

see everyone in a little while. don't know how i'm makin it but i am. we were in the emergency room until 6am!!! came home and got 3 hours of sleep, got up and finished the car. it's not as clean as i usually have it, but all things considering. hell besides cleaning i even got the calipers repainted, and my grill repainted cause it was all chipped up. my wife has been sick off and on over the past 2 weeks and we found out that it was her gall bladder and will prolly have to have surgery. the pain was so unbearable last night that we went to the ER at around 9:30 pm and didn't leave until 6AM!! she got some pain killers and is doped up. LOL she didn't wanna miss the car show so we are still coming. LOL that's dedication. LOL she was hell bent on making it one way or another. LOL
