Yeah I decided our Grand baby needs to come into this world with a non materialistic values so I spent 1/2 the day doing my best to build what I call a toy box. Not all that great but hand built by Grandpa and that's where it counts.

nice congrats gramps!! my parents are going beserk over my new daughter. i actually had to tell my mom to stop buying shyt cause i was running out of places to put it all

This one is Poplar. Thought it would look really good having a light maple stain on it and it is a lot easier to work with using the router. Those are all 1x6's ripped, cut, routed, sanded and beveled.

Dang thing took me 4 1/2 hours to build and only thought it would take maybe 2-3 max.

We have the track every year the Saturday following Thanksgiving Day from 10am - 4pm.

Thanks man we are all really excited around here. Our daughter just left and having some pains so we are hoping maybe our grand daughter will be here tonight.

We are too young to be grand parents but been ready!

by that time i'll have my new car, which will be slow, but it would definitly be great to get some seat time at a good track :cheers:

That's why everyone loves Bugday! We have some goofy races and some serious ones including DOT, Hard tire and several others you will fit into with no prob.

23 years later, I still have the toybox that my dad made before I was born. If my house were burning down, I would lug that thing down the stairs to save it.
