Here forsale is one of my rifles, a Soviet M91/30 Rifle, with a bayonet. This specific rifle was made in 1944. Not a whole lot to say about this rifle... the pictures and age of it speak for its self. I have however shot this rifle 200+ times. It would be a very very good deer rifle, ive hit targets at 100+ yards with this rifle. I have assumed it was used in World war 2, but theres no way to tell forsure. Also no way to tell if anyone has ever been killed by this rifle. From some of the beats on the wood it looks like its been used alot in woods/wars. Everytime Ive ever used it I have cleaned it out really good, and a few times that I used cheap ammo I soaked the bore in soapy/hot water. Fun ass rifle, but im just making some room for an AK-47/SKS, or an ar-15. Here is a link that may be more helpful on abou these rifles.

u have a piece of history, never know. does it have some kind of serial number to where u can trace its history. if i were u, i'll keep it till i find out its history. if it was used in world war 2, then maybe it could be worth alot more then what u think, but thats just me. g/l

mosin nagants are a dime a dozen, just like k98s, garands, etc etc. not saying they aren't cool, but no one really cares about tracking down the history on every one out there.

for the record, that's an M44 carbine, not a 91/30. M44's have the side folding bayonet and are a good bit shorter. and yea, these rifles typically sell all day long for under $100 (got my last one for $90 at a show, J&G sales/AIM surplus has them for $79 right now, etc) unless they have some type of rarity to them, which isn't extremely likely. awesome rifles though, out of all the guns i own, my M44 is by far one of my favorites to shoot.

also, check out www.7.62x54r.net if you wanna find tons more info on mosins, it's a really good site.
