Progress Notes on the 7

Here are a few update pics of the RX-7. New since last posting = custom FMIC, Coil overs ( Kei Office Front/ Tein HA rears, Both are fully adjustable and dropped 2") Gauge remounted, Also waxed it. Soon to come= CF Center console and radio bezel, main stream is reworking the exhaust, HIDs, Halteck or Mega squirt, also need to roll the fenders.

That is the Stock intake TB elbow modified by mainstream, where the BOV is where it originally came out.

i was considering a turbo upgrade but honestly i think it would be a bit scary to get anything over 300 in a car this light. Plus its being built for auto cross.

It's not bad. We had just over 450rwhp in James' TII. Had problems with the rear diff banging the body though....:D

stay with the stockers for autoX.... suspension upgrades are better. guy i work with has an FC setup for handling.

I got it for work originally but they keep changing the damn roads and building stuff in forsyth so it gets lost pretty easily.

Thanks for all the complements. Not sure whats next Ive gotta roll the fenders ASAP.and the exhaust is pretty high on the list, Mainstream dynoed it with the exhaust on and then unbolted from right in front of the muffler back and gained 10 hp... Damn flow masters.

Looks like a good start to modding your 7... Never seen anyone modify the stock TB elbow before... not too bad of an idea... roll the fenders and good luck on getting enough ground clearance with a lowered 7 and big exhaust, its difficult.
