I plan on going if the weather permits. We talked my buddy's dad into taking his 73 GTO also... doesn't run very good times sense he didn't stop spinning until the end of 3rd gear... but still a good time... What time you plan on being down there?

prob not till 8 or 815. im coming from mcdonough and i get off at 645 so it takes about an hour to get there. driving the speed limit. i dont want any :police: trouble.

I hear ya. I will be coming from Griffin. There is usually no cops coming down 19, but definitely better to drive and not have to worry about them though... I'll keep a look out for the car in your sig if that is what you are taking...

true. well you might hit a 14 since you got that badass suspension setup. and didnt you put exhaust and intake on it?

yea, its got 2.5" exhaust, ebay intake, and the high mileage mod! if i run i would guess mid-high 15's....this will be the slowest i have ran in a while. im used to 12 second passes.

well, i hit the nail on the head..first 2 passes were 15.5@90mph and 15.5@91mph followed by 2 15.8's@89mph. turned over 155000 miles as i pulled in the drive way...swap is still for sale runs strong

i ran like total ****. 13.5 at 105mph but i couldnt get a good start that whole night. i would either bog or spin all the way throu first and i couldnt catch second at all. i was sideways the first 1/8th mile of the track.

can anbody vouch for me that i ran a 13.5 that saw me race the third time. someone doesnt believe me even tho i got the slip. they said it could be anyones slip. i was in the gold 240

I'll vouch for ya. I seen him run the 13.5. The 240 moved pretty quick once you hooked up. I would definitely say low 13's maybe high 12's with slicks and a good launch. I left after the GTO broke and they had to clean up the track. How did the 4th run hook for ya? Oh btw, like the car. Nice meeting ya man.

hey thanks man i would rep you but i already have lol :goodjob: . yes i need to get traction bad lol. yeah they spent 50 min cleaning the track! and it was still bad. some guy almost wrecked. my last pass sucked. lol. and thanks man. to bad your didnt get your car out there.

Yeah, I was there for about 30 minutes of the cleaning and said forget it. There was anti-freeze everywhere. Sucks for the guy driving the goat. I think we plan on going down there next month some time. I will let ya know when we get a certain date that we are going and see if you are going down there. Going to make sure we get down there earlier. I might get the car down there next time. My nephew that was with me wants to run his jeep for fun...
