Okay I am pretty sure most of yall pass by his dealership sometimes, idk if yall noticed the 06 Red Type-S he has?
Well he wanted $15.900... And I offered him $14,900 and I said we sign paper's right away.. And he start's getting aggresive saying "You are trying to run me out of business, you dont want me to feed my family" And I am like how am I trying to do that? I am making you an offer on the car.. He goes the car is in excellent condition? I am like.. No it's not.. The wheels are curbed.. There's a big scratch on the quarter panel.. And the right taillight has water in it? He goes well maybe it's because it's been raining cats and dog's yesterday? Im like well this is a 06.. And my dad's 96 Mini Van doesnt have water in his taillights now does he? And he starts cursing saying get the **** off my lot. I am like dont worry. You wont be making business off of me and some of my friend's. And he comes at me saying get the **** off before I punch you.. Yes believe it or not.. The old fart said that.. Then I proceed to my car and he follows me and slams my door really hard.. Thats when I got pissed off and I tried to re-open it.. My window was open and I called him a oldfart.. And he put's his fist right under my nose and says I will ****ing punch you if you dont leave.. And he slams it on my leg.. And thats when I kicked the door open and I get in his face and say ****ing hit me now. And he was about to spit on me and he put his leg up to kick me a few times.. There's a few other **** I probably missed out.. But I will add it. And yes 2 other customer's witnessed this. And he also said he has camera's.. Im like good, then we have you on camera putting youre fist under my nose and slamming my door a few times and all this other crap he did..

And to the other dumbass that work's with him. Keep your god damn mouth shut. I hope both of yall bastard's read this **** you dirty son's of bitches.

And I did come back with the police but they didnt do ****..

I myself have been in verbal altercations with the owner of the dealership over a matter that had nothing to do with me. Tempers class but that comes with the territory. Now Ron seemed like a great boss but if you crossed him or get out of line you'll know.. I was told so by Brandon that do as you are told and do as you say.. something along the lines of that..


to me both sides seem to be in the wrong.. one Ron got mad which seems to me he was angry over Amir bashing his company with valuble customers on the lot which I could understand.. Prospects are hard to come by on a "dirt Lot" espically now a days.. and word of mouth travels fast as hell now a days... this whole blow up and thread could hurt Ron seriously and may result in closing of his buisness..

Ron agreed to the terms initially (per the post) --- or there would be no contract being presented. THEN he starts to "barter" and try to get a diff amount on the contract. Typical salesman sh*t if u ask me --> he agreed to the price to get the kid in there, and then wanted to hustle him to get what's on the sticker. It's a f*cking CAR --- who pays what's on the sticker? Ron buys cars WHOLESALE --- or through many other dealership tricks to get cars (auction, consignment, repo, etc.) every1 knows that, and guarantee you that he is not into that car for 15,900 or anywhere close. A REAL salesman would have said "well I can fix the taillight for you, and get a professional buff on the car" ($250 light, $50 buff) and still be in the clear... or offer 10 oil changes ($200)... ANYTHING other than piss a customer off and let him leave the lot --- ESPECIALLY one that was there to sign on the line. Who cares if "joe schmo" has a bad rep, he's not selling cars. As the business u need to be professional and at all times. If 14,9 wasn't acceptible then he shouldn't have called the kid back into the shop. All I gotta say is call the BBB.

the only thing i see wrong from my view being in the car buisness before is the fact RON marked the car up 1k from the buying price... Most dealers and even when i bought cars for pulliam ford.. a dealers main goal is to make money. 1k with his own lot and employees is not enough to pay everyone. Now with that said the customer pointing out scratches we dont care as a salesmen, we have instilled in our minds what we want to sell this car for and thats final

but when we take a trade in.. we dont give the customer what they want for there trade.. we noticed every little ding scratch and flaw on the "walk around" when we appraise the vehicle dropping the price as we go around the car and do a Visual inspection. * note all dealerships do this dirt lot or "big wig" dealerships" before they give you an actual price.

so if a customer has a trade in a wants 8k firm for the trade in because they owe 7k and want to make 1k off of it. Should the dealer blow up and call the customer a cheat infront of his family and friends?

if a dealer has a car for sale for 15.9k and was offered 14.9k for it should the dealer get insulted and go off on the custmer for giving him a price.

there is no law stating a man can not come on to property public nor private that is considered an establishment trade, saying they can not haggle pricing for furniture, food, or in this case vehicles. both sides seem to be wrong but Rons side seems to be by far the worst..

You should know brandon.. in this buisness.. Name calling comes with the territory. I was called a ****er before when an older white gentleman wanted a 2007 Ford F250 King Ranch for 40k even. The list price was 60k and even the employee pricing for it was still 49k. He called me a ****er and proceeded to tell my GM that I hassled him to come to the dealership told him I could get the truck for him for his price and that I promised him a full tank of gas for the 2 hour drive he endured. Mind you that day was the first time I ever spoke with that man. I've been called alot of things at some of the jobs I've had but that does not mean blow up and have an altercation with someone over it. Even if Ron blew off steam in this he still has to come back to HIS building with HIS name on it with HIS employees there and coop with the actions that have taken place over a price that probably could have been talked through to both parties satisfaction. in the video ron actualy got Phsyical and tried to take the camera from what it looks like. If the kid who was taping wanted to, he could charge Ron with simple assault and personal property damage. Ron never had a right to touch the camera even though his establishment is private property

I used to be a dealer and a floor manager for a major dealership in columbia, Pulliam Ford before i moved here. Basically talking as if I were still selling cars to let people know I was once in this position as a saleman dizzle.

Well I still say that this was not over a Price that this was something that Had been brewing for a few years with this young gentleman. I am so glad I work for a good reputable (sp) new car dealership. We don't have people come in and try to haggle prices, and all of our salesmen are the most respectable of people. I would never buy from a "buy here, pay here" place, just because of my expirence in the car industry. I have over 3 years in the dealership game, and I am only 20. Most of the cars I have ever seen in "bh/ph" place is complete crap. We sale all of our trade in's to wholesalers the same day, so we don't have the problem of broke asses coming in and trying to get lower prices. Also, we kiss the customer's ass, we make them feel as if they are family. I guess that's why we have been at the top of customer satisfication for Chevrolet dealerships around Ga in the eastern divison. Sorry for my rambling, and I know my point is ------------------------------------------------over here--->, when it should be <-h-e-r-e. So, I don't think Ron was in the right, the customer is the NUMBER 1 priority, make them happy. It can take just one unhappy customer, and you're ruined. One semi off-topic thing that I would like to add: Improper grammar or spelling does NOTHING to make people take your posts seriously; I don't care the excuse. If you have something that is going on that prevents you from properly expressing yourself, you need to wait until you are able to say exactly what you mean. Call me an elitist or whatever, but I believe the way you type/speak reflects on your intelligence. Especially in these "he said, she said" situations, being coherent means the difference between people thinking twice about what they've been told and just writing you off.

Other items of interest:

• Julio, I'm impressed that you used the resources available to you to make sure you got the whole story.

• I predicted the footage would not be available. Yes there are privacy concerns, but they can be addressed.

• Without commenting on this particular situation, in business you have to deal with irate/irrational customers without losing your cool. Is that fair? No. But it's life, and just like a lot of other things if you want to succeed you're going to have to learn deal with people you don't want to deal with. As a person, you want to get angry. As a salesperson, you know that that is unproductive.

• It's unfortunate that Ron was in a shouting match in front of other customers; no good can come from that. However I don't really think that this thread will make or break him; people who can actually afford to buy cars generally aren't in the WL. I'm sure he gets some sales from this site, but not enough to be really concerned about it. Some people in this thread were perceptive to the fact that most of his customers will never hear or read about this thread; no one cares what these kids are whining about, because until they actually have money to spend they have NO TANGIBLE EFFECT on the businesses they bash. No matter how many other poor, narrow minded people think the same way.

I bought my sc300 from a dealer, i tried to lowball him of course, he knew the game, we agreed on a price that was fair. He didnt take any disrespect an i didnt either. But some people can negotiate without being a **** , some cant.

I see nothing wrong with what Rons did so far, unless compelling videos surface showing definite malice on Rons part, this is simply a kid being an attention whore an throwing a temper tantrum over not getting the car he wanted.

To everyones question absolutly I negotiate prices at Dealers everyday. My statement was, why is that the case in our society but I will say I try to but I am not rude about it. If I have the best price I run with it. Some dealers have vehicles marked at a blow out price so they have no room. I buy over 30 cars a week for my company from many Dealers around town including Ron's. I work for a Credit Union Auto Finder Service that deals with Major Customer Service.

To the kid from Chevy just FYI: Ron's is not a Buy Her Pay Her lot. His finance company's he uses are Large Banks and like Capital 1. Most of his Cars are Over 10 Grans and have gone through a Certified Shop.

Thanks again to those who can see a heated momment got out of control for both. Like I stated I was not there but now the kid said we tried to sell him a Flood car but how did he know it was a flood Car. Cause we told him it was not Ron's Auto Sales Vehicle and I believe he asked if we would trade for an accord that he was trying to sell on here for many many months. That car was Ron's personal Car he was going to turn into a Track Car.
