Bought it brand new for school 2 years ago. Was required that I have one at the school I was at but I'm transferring to Tech and I have a desktop to just trying to unload things I don't need. I pais $990 retail.

I'm having an issue reinstalling Windows XP. Comp shuts off during the installation process and I'm unsure why. What all I have read seems to indicate a Hard Drive or CD-ROM Problem. However, the computer works fine and already has Windows XP SP2 installed and the CD-Rom works fine It just won't have a FRESH copy of XP on it. Makes a fine web browser/note taker/word processor to to take around with you to class or whatever else.
