View Full Version : My new project: 53 Plymouth Suburban Wagon

Well I found my new project about a year ago, and finally got it home this week. It's a 53 Plymouth Suburban 2 door wagon, and it's pretty sweet.
The interior is in great shape but the headliner is a bit dingy, even though it's perfect visually. The car has a flat head inline 6, with a 3speed on the column.
My plans are to get it running, throw some fresh wide whitewalls on it, then rechrome the bumpers and give it a fresh coat of paint....maybe seafoam green.
I can't wait to get it rollin and out on the streets. I've always been a wagon guy and this one is a pretty rare old piece.
Hope you enjoy!

no, a Hemi would be better ;) Sorry im just a mopar fan, who like to keep the mopars and engines in the family, no need for a Chevy in there, the Elephant will do just fine.
Sweet Plymouth though! Looks like its in great shape!
