Since May of last year, my college age ministry has been making regular trips to the Holly Grove Perish of New Orleans to lend in helping hand. Over the past year we have made some really awesome relationships with some families and the commmunity. In late June we will be making another trip and we expect to have 100+ people join us. Obviously 100 white folk crammed onto the street ,we normally work on, just isnt going to happen. So the Church we stay at down there is connecting us with other oppurtunities in the area. The project im leading is going to revolve around a mens last resort rehab center who houses men, has a thift store, and repairs/maintains vehicles and boats to sale. Were looking for about 10 guys to be in this group. Check out the rehab center: bridgehouse.org
