Ok well at MCE's track day on the 30th I broke the tensioner on the Saleen and had to get a tow home. Last weekend I was driving my dad's Porsche and the alternator went out on Ponce downtown (car has 20k miles...). And to top it all...

I JUST BLEW MY DAMN TRANSMISSION UP!!!

Pulled out onto 141 got on it and when I grabbed 2nd... BOOM... car shuddered and lurched real bad... put in neutral and coasted into the Forum. All the while listening to the wonderful metal shredding metal grinding sounds... :(

Well maybe getting a turbo 400 after all.:ninja:

Yeah no joke... There goes about $4000... Hopefully its not to bad but it locked down pretty hard so might only be able to save the housing.

Won't know anything till next week really. I know its something in the transmission but nothing was leaking so all internal. Since I'm gonna buy a turbo 400 for the other chassis might just do it now and put it in this car for a while and put the manual back in when I change the motor.

Nope... Can't build that one any stronger either. Might have to switch entirely...

Yeah managed to coast into the Forum. Whole helluva lot better to wait there for a tow truck than Ponce...

Yeah. That place is retarded car-wise though. A Boxster would get more respect than a 997 TT, and a V6 Mustang would be "cooler" then a Terminator.

Yeah had the car there for over an hour with the hood up and never got a second glance... Ok well except for a security guard who asked if there was a car show coming because they have to be approved... When I told him it was broken down he said, "you can't abandon your car here." :screwy:
