go to work every day? With the way gas prices are now, you actually have to calculate how much it cost to go to work everyday and put that in your budget. Was just wondering how far most people would drive to go to their job everyday?
(I put this in Wallstreet b/c it has to do with work)

Depending how it pays, but never had a job more than 10 miles from home.

Must be nice. I drive almost 40 miles one way to work everyday. I know it could be worse, but stop and go traffic on 19-41 gets old really quick.

you work the corner 2 towns over, sellin blowjobs for $5 each. then when it starts to get daytime, you go to the next corner and wait for someone who needs able laborers to cut their grass.

I have worked 30+ miles away. Its really not all that bad. All I need is a nice car to make the commute in!
With gas prices the way they are....a nice honda fit would do well, lolololol.

I voted for 50+ miles...
I have two jobs. One is literally 1.5miles from my house and the other requires me to drive all over atlanta...sometimes 150+ miles a day.
However, I keep great records of mileage when it comes to my second job and drive a honda, so it will a great tax write-off since i'm required to drive for that job.

as states before, it depends on what my income is. however, there is a certain distance limit. My work is around 20-25 miles from my school(where I usually take off from) and that drive seems insanely long even after a couple months of commuting.

i started in the paintshop at my work getting 7.00 an hour to begin with, then once i started welding and operating the crane big dollars came in... 17.25 an hour, plus overtime. 6am-4:30am. do the math, and friday AND saturday is over time days. so my drive if 50 miles one way isnt bad at all.

I put down 1-15 miles since that is how long my commute is now. Much better than having to drive to Dacula and filling up at the end of the week.

My work's only five miles or so from me, but I have to do a lot of driving with my work. I do a lot of parts' pick-ups and drop-offs.
Expense reports are the best thing ever.

Work? Less than 20 miles going to and from the airport per week. The Accord has seen less than 300 miles since the start of this year. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about wasting gas on commuting to work.
I usually end up putting 200-250 miles in my Miata/MINI over a weekend though, so it pretty much evens out.

The company I work for gave me a van and a gas card and I drive 22miles to work. Then drive around all day. Then 22miles home. I go threw $240 in gas a week. Ford E250 V6 van.
