holy crap... found this ***** on ebay. i was looking around and BAM i saw this and looked at the location: Buford, GA.

it was at honda parts connection. man what a winner.

dont have the car in my hands yet though... gave them $500 today and gotta cash my insurance check and then go give them the rest of the cash and THEN she's mine

plan on putting these GC coilover sleeves i've had sitting around and some wheels and im done.

my question is how did you get an insurance check and get to keep the car also, its really not my bussiness but i always thought when they total the car they take the car and give you money for it or you can keep the car and dont get money for it

insurance offered me $4400 and some change. and they wanted $500 and some change if i wanted the car back. so i said i'll take it and they just gave me a $3900 check. and i have parted out well over $1000 in stuff off the the sol so i made out pretty good


and i payed $5035 for this *****! it was a steal...

i may come out. but thats only if i've finished this new 7 page paper i have for sociology on all the different sociological perspectives of urban poverty. social conflict, symbolic interactionist, and structural functionalist.

Justin, thats awesome that everything has seemed to work out for you. Congrats on the new sol and I am looking foward to checking it out in person. While you got a steal, my neighbor bought a del sol a couple years back(still has it) but it was a Del Sol VTEC w/ 35xxx miles, in MINT condition, but its red. It rarely ever gets driving, its just been sitting under a car cover. He takes it out on occasion, I'm gonna try and get him to come out to a meet with it ;)

yeah that miata is pretty nice... the salesman there (bob) was driving this sol as his demo, and when i bought it he switched to driving the miata haha. so they must be trustworthy cause the guy has to drive like 30 miles one way to work everyday.

yeah im kinda diggin the stockies... i do want new wheels but im not really in any big hurry.

i gotta put the bump stop on the driver front and raise it just a little cause it scrubs if i turn like 1/32 of a turn haha. it was the only strut that i forgot to put the bump stop on and it was the first sleeve we put on so its a little too low. but oh well...

it looks extra sexy now... i was very happy with the outcome.

i think joe's gonna take some pictures today after work and i'll post a thread with some official pics of the new sol
