Or maybe he has the angle because on the ef hatches and ef rex's the exhaust is routed in crazy bends and restricts it terribly... so on MOST ef's you will see slight angled exhaust for less restrictions... thats not rice thats SMART...:doh:

It's a 30 degree angle, i honestly wish it wasn't there. The same exhaust by Invidia for an EF sedan doesn't have the angle, but they did that for the CRX for some reason. The sound of the exhaust, however, more than makes up for the looks.

a saws-all and a mig welder can change anything, but it would stick out behind the bumper about 4" as the canister is really long. The combination of a "straight flow" muffler combined with the bumper to rear subframe clearance just doesn't allow for much space to work with. :/ This is why most EF exhaust systems have a seperate muffler and tip (DC Sports & Thermal Research), or just flow under the right side of the bumper (BC specII).

I'd like to see a picture at speed to see that the speedometer works on the S2K cluster.

A friend of mine did an S2K cluster swap in his EG in 2001 - his name is Shane Menko - and then, and now I don't think anyone has figured out a way to make the speedometer work since the vehicle speed sensors are completely different.

He got the tach and some other stuff working, but not the speedometer.

I've heard a rumor that some euro company is making conversion kits for the EG with electronic VSS, but I've still never seen any porrf that it works.

The "company" you're referring to may be a guy by the name Mark Lamond. He is the guru who cracked the code on the cluster in order for it to be used in other cars. :) however, he hasn't been performing mods to the clusters like he used to, and I'm not even sure he still is in this "business" at all anymore. I haven't talked to him in months.

on his site, you'll find info on how to swap a SiR speed sensor into your EF cable transmission and get the speedo to work. Everything on this car works (door ajar, fuel level, CEL, the whole shooting match - except for the speedo. SiR speed sensors are somewhat hard to come by here in the states.)

for the Import Showdown it'd be nice to see a mid 13, later on this fall when the manifolds (intake, exhaust) are swapped out and the car is re-tuned to accomodate that... very low 13s to high 12s.
