wasup IA!
is the STR manifold good for allmotor or just boost!
the intake manifold is going on a jdm gsr and it is an N/A, just bolts on, like DC header, intake system, WS2 exhaust system, the the str manifold with stock gsr TB. Am i goin to loss alot of power from the intake or gain alot.
is my vtec goin to scream loud  ... or is it better off, buying;) a skunk2 intake manifold...lmk thanx for ur time.

waste of money you will lose torque and with the stock throttle body lose power also. i wouldn't use use it on anything below a 2.0 liter motor unless it boosted

I think you would be alot better off if you just removed the butterflys in your intake (FREE UPGRADE) . oh yea and a type r header wouldn't be a bad idea:goodjob:
just my :2cents: .

Skunk2($270) intake manifold or the blox($180) intake manifold. Which ever you perfer... i would recommend skunk2.:goodjob:
You may want to invest in some skunk2 cams and a 64mm throttle body also.

Have you ever driven or rode with someone that has a GSR? Just asking since you say it doesn't feel like a GSR. If so was that GSR stock? If it's not then that could be the difference.

the str manifold, usually work better for boost.

whenever you ditch the dual stage gsr intake manifold for a single stage manifold such as the skunk2, you need to move the vtec engagement point up to around 5300rpms. every application is a little different, but it needs to be raised into that neighborhood. you want a little power increase, ive got a zex kit for sale

Yea what he said I put a skunk 2 on my GSR and it didn't do crap until the second stage usually kicked in at like 6,000 rpms, I guess cause of the fuel curves the stock ECU had, so if u do an intake manifold get it tuned or just get a VAFC and do it yourself then u can make some good power:goodjob: ........ I guess:thinking:

AEBS.... similar to type r, but they extended the manifold past the runner #1 so it doesn't starve the 1st cylinder like the type r manifold does

you will lose horse power, you better off with type r or blox, skunk, aebs intake manifold, if your motor is boosting or highly modified you could use the str manifold...yyou should shop on ebay..:goodjob:
