Door Speakers for a '97 Prelude.

i went and bought some 6.5'' rockford 3 way's and they wont fit in the door.what's a good speaker that will fit in the door??

define dont fit, you can make it fit

because on the prelude the speaker holder is built into the door panel.and the rim of the speaker hits the outside.

remove the factory holder and make a mdf adapter for a 6 3/4" speaker it will fit. Most rockford 6.5 use a 6 3/4" casing so its not a true 6.5" speaker
