so for $3500 would you guys buy a super clean 93 prelude si, but with 240,000 miles on a h23a?

car is pretty cool, i've never had a prelude. how hard are the h23's to work on?

h23's are gay, and I would not pay 3500 for a prelude with one..

They are really nice cars, but if you want a prelude get one with a h22...... hella of lot faster.... But h23 can be nice and fast, but like everything else it takes money..... Best of luck to you

240k is a lot homie. That motor is worn out, espically if the car is equipped with an aftermarket exhaust.

Over-priced like hell, even for asking!

don't care how 'clean' it is.

my brother got his for cheaper than that and it got a h22 ,but i think for that much you can find one with a h22 and h23 are hard as hell to work on .Specially when they are stock and have all that extra.Like A/C ps and all that and dont talk about taking it out.

Over 200,000 is not really a big thing to worry about. Mine had 307,00 on it when I bought it, never touched it till it had 320,000. Then I rebuilt the engine, not really because it needed it but because the head gasket started to go. I could of just put a head gasket in it and kept running it. The bearings in the low end didn't even show major wear or anything. So just because a car has over 200,000 on it don't mean it is a bad car. Yes on a h23 it is a very bad deal, just look on any prelude forum and they tell you that high milage and h23's don't mix. Besides if it is rebuilt theysay you don't get but about 60K on a rebuild. They are really expensive to rebuild any way. So definetly if you want a prelude then get one with a h22 or get one with the intention to swap in a h22. Just my :2cents: , based on me and my neighbor having to deal with one. :blah:
