it allows you to adjust you fuel pressure

Mr. Clean
04-05-2008, 09:24 PM
im sorry... im a newb to the "fuel management game"... so what is the best pressure for daily driving or what does a higher or lower pressure do for me.

jew_boy
04-05-2008, 09:27 PM
all it does is give you more or less fuel which if you dont know more fuel is better IF you car is tuned for it and less well you should get the idea

Mr. Clean
04-05-2008, 09:28 PM
well the car is bone stock except for this

jew_boy
04-05-2008, 09:34 PM
well if it runs good then dont adjust it but if it running lean or to rich then get it looked at and get some one the is good with that to adjust it

Mr. Clean
04-05-2008, 09:36 PM

looks like a ZEX FPR to me, was nitrous ever on the car? any holes in the intake mani that were plugged up with silicone, welds, jb weld? zex actually gives you one with there kit but that would have been kinda dumb to take everything off except that...

Mr. Clean
04-05-2008, 09:58 PM
is that supposed to be there, it looks kind of aftermarket... like perhaps a spray inlet

jew_boy
04-05-2008, 10:00 PM

Mr. Clean
04-05-2008, 10:04 PM

jew_boy
04-05-2008, 10:11 PM

just ask the guy tomorrow but it shouldnt hurt it that bad unless he did like a 100 shot or more

B_Hoov
04-05-2008, 11:15 PM
was that a stock intake manifold? if so thats not a factory hole...what kind of car is it? you can check the trunk for where the bottle would have been mounted but i have seen people hide two 2lb bottles in the door too so if they dont want you to find it you wont. if you have the proper tool you can do a compression check on the spot. nitrous is fairly easy to remove and install a nitrous system, look for holes in the firewall from mounting solenoids, generally people will use small self tapping screws, might also be on one of the fenders.

B_Hoov
04-05-2008, 11:16 PM
when are you going?

B_Hoov
04-05-2008, 11:18 PM

Mr. Clean
04-06-2008, 08:06 AM

i wouldnt be too worried about if it has been sprayed. as long as it wasnt extreme amounts of spray on a daily basis the car should be fine. unless he is selling the car for a ridiculously low price then theres probably no problems. plus you said he was pretty straight forward. just get the car because that is one sick ass sol. lol
