Yea from the looks of it they managed to either change the computer out, or crack it. Thats awesome. I dont think 582 p/s is equal to 582 hp tho.

Ahh ok. Id like to know exactly what they did to make it gain that much power. They have have just did a good tune on it and turned up the boost.

Well Jeebis... 59.6-7 is a very respectable time seeing as the record is like 56.3 i think and that being a incredibly built car.

BTW: did u all notice that the speedo didnt work.. it went to about 10mph, and stopped.. i guess theyver got some kinks to work out with their ecu..

umm....i disagree.

Mine's, MCR, Sunline Auto, Amuse and others were the first to get GTRs so i doubt nissan didn't give them specific permission to work on the car.

The ECU is cracked. You can send your GTR ecu out and have it cracked. Think its like a 3 day turn around.

:thinking: Umm if you watched the video you would see an exhaust.

Those were some of the few things you could due until they cracked the ECU i guess.

seemed like looking at their graphs the car maxes around .75 bar before the crack

A Formula Nippon can go round in under 45 seconds and an f1 car can crack the 39 sec barrier.

thats why i posted the evo to cause i figured someone would say that
at the end of the video though it does say that that is the new lap record
and also on wikipedia it says the nsx hold the record
but even if you dont wanna consider it the record the time that the all carbon evo put down was still faster then the previous time posted in this thread

The JGTC NSX monocoque shares very little with it's street counterpart.

Different suspension geometry and engine modifications are limitless.

It's basically Group 5 for the 21 century.

Just like in all GT racing. Just cause it looks like something from the outside means nothing as to what it is when you take it apart.

Record Holder to other JGTC machines... Not street cars.

They havn't really brought another JGTC machine to Tsukuba cause it's primerly a street car and Motorcycle track. A 2008 SuperGT would probably bring that time into the 49 sec bracket.

At HKS 30 birthday the raced the CT230R against a Nissan Z GT300 car and it lost. So It's not a fair comparison. At the end of the day, a car with tube chassis components is not a street car.
