 Drivetrain and power plant from ferrari. Aston isn't even owned by ford anymore but they do hold a 10% stake in the company still i believe.

I personally love these cars. They are BETTER than what they used to be. Ferrari has really taken them and turned them around. Pops is lookin at buying one soon after his business expands later in the year.

I believe the purchase of Maserati was by FIAT which is controlled byt Ferrari an this was RECENTLY maybe only in the last few years. I forget who owned the Maserati before Fiat an Ferrari, i thought it was Ford, maybe it was Citroen

The heart of Aston is still british supercar

Why? The car looks like crap. I would drive an IS-F, M3, RS4 anyday of the week over that car.

Looks like crap?

Why cause it doesn't decorate itself with pointless Carbon Fiber or go fast pieces?

You do realize it's a different type of buyer looking for a luxury sedan than one that would own your Vette.

Look like crap?

It was designed by Pininfarina, that says more than if any other design house in the world did it.

+ your comparing it to cars that are

A. Mid sided when the Quattroporte is a large sedan. It compares to the MB S class and the Lexus LS, you know long wheelbase sedans?

B. Like i said before, it has great sporting credentials but it is a luxury cruiser more than a go fast toy.

My point exactly.

who cares its just an over priced piece of shiit that really means nothing.... yeah its carbon everything and 600+ horsepower but thats it and you have to pay 350,000 dollars for that.. take a quarter of that and build a honda, nissan, mazda whatever and you beat it....carbon craetions and other company's make all carbon panels and any GOOD motor work shop can build the **** outta your car for 50,000... think about it you'll save so much money....fuuck the big Italian F

I love the quattroporte's, I saw a few last week, they grew on me, interior is nice, engine is sexy, exterior is exotic yet not too insane.

Yeah, not to into those kind of cars, but I'm not saying I don't like it.... Its nice and I'm pretty sure it drives great, but I would never pay that much money for an exotic car....... I'd rather have an old school muscle car or a honda/nissian/subaru, and then still have money to build it to out run something like that, for half the price...... just my:2cents: ...........................

i think its ugly imo, i would take a bunch of other cars in that price range over it. saything nothing about its performance, just to me it does not look like it should cost as much as it does.

Well my thing about the quatroportte is that yea you can by a sclass or a ls for the same money but how many Quattroportes do you see on the road?

I've driven on and I like them a lot. They are a great alternatives to boring sedans...even when compared to a 750i or S550 they are just so much more involving to drive..which brings me to the point that these cars arn't just fantastic rare sedans but they will run most sports cars down on a Road Course. They are comparible to S63's and M5's times with far less power. They run low 13's and can run 170+ and thats just in a straight line..but the automatics are ehh. The only 4 door big sedan I can think i'd rather own for sure would be the S8.

Correct. I really hate it when people talk down about exotics and start comparing them to cars they could "piece together". These cars are much more refined and offer so much more than any tuner. With that speed you get a car that has a nice interior and such pedigree and heritage which is something most of the people on this site don't seem to understand.

Im glad some people can respect the kind of car it is. I have loved this sedan since it came out. It would be the ultimate gentlemens sedan, rare, refined and under 100k...heck if I had the money I would buy one, espeically that black one that is pictured above!!!
and no I would never put any money into a honda to make it go fast with carbon fiber... I would put money into it to drive to the junk yard...then MAKE money off of it :D
