You bought it from WOW..?

Yeah I know one of the salesmen there named James Freeman. He knew what I was looking for and actually found the bike for me. Paid 8k out the door for it. That was a screaming deal b/c most of the R1s that I looked at on ebay or cycletrader at the time w/ more miles wanted 8500-9000 and I'd still have to travel to pick it up.

I have the tag for it but I'm waiting until the rideout tag goes out. The lady messed up and put April 29th instead of March 29th so I'm gonna milk it for what it's worth.

Nice bike, BLK. Very cool.

When I was bike shopping, I was told by numerous people to avoid WOW. Later, QD.

Yeah I'd avoid WOW if you don't know what condition the bike was in before they got it and also their prices are very high but they generally deal w/ people w/ less than perfect credit and also people who can't afford to pay 200-300 a month on a bike so they'll definitely capitalize on you.

I know James personally and he sent me the information on my bike before they even received it w/ pics and seller information. He was basically the middle man. I didn't want to travel. It was cheaper for me to get it through them than rent a truck, pay for gas, and to take time off from work.

They're supposed to put it for 1 month from the sale date. When I worked at Gwinnett Place Nissan they'd generally put it for 1 month from the end of the month date so you generally had a little over a month to get your tag.

Thanks!! Yeah I love them. Everyone w/ R1s has the Akrapovics, Graves, or GTY-R. I wanted to be different so I shelled out a little extra for the Termis.

looks pretty good. There is a guy on here selling an R1 and he said something about he shortened the exhaust 2" or something to tuck it in a little. It looks bangin. Just some food for thought.

Yeah a lot of people shorten the cans on the Graves and Akrapovics b/c they stick out past the taillight and they melt or discolor the taillight. They chop them down almost to where the exhaust hanger is. The Termis don't have either of those problems so I don't see the point b/c then I'd have to remove the sticker, mess up the CF, make it a little too loud for my taste, and void my warranty.

Oh, okay. I didnt know there was a reason behind it beyond an astetic(sp) aspect. Learned something new today.

Noticed what I stated from page 1. Also I only paid 8k out the door w/ 1200 miles. You can't find a 04-06 R1 w/ twice the miles for that price. That's why I have to thank my boy James. If it wasn't for him I'd be paying a lot more for it.
