i bought a new toy this weekend... Datsun Roadster!!! :D it needs restoration, but this is what it looks like for those who don't know anything about them... sr20 swaps are often common in this car too ;)

sorry don't have any pix yet, i have to get it to my house but it needs lots of restoration, has a straight body and has the convertible/hardtop as well... needs new paint, new motor, new interior etc... its red original color was yellow.

hotness... If it wasnt because I really dont want to deal with Rust and trying to find some parts.. I would get a datsun 210 or a 2 dr Corolla Coupe 1.8 rwd.. just dont feel like dealing with that shit now.

^ ya i feel ya... this is definately going to be a project, it has some rust gonna have to be sanded down and preped for painting. it should be fun though. i haven't decided if i'm going to keep it classic or add new flare to it :thinking:

Paul if you nee a good shop to look at it let me know. My friend Peter works at a Restoration shop called Global Restoration. they are currently restoring this 60's Austin Healey, its friggin SICK.

but in any case good lukc with it, thats a badass car.

I would get a datsun 210

I'm working on that right now. Here is a pic of my 1980 210 wagon back in 1990, before most of ya'll were even in school. It was burgundy, stock, then I hand painted it black, the primered and painted it candyapple, metalflake blue. Took all the springs out and shaved all the door handles. Later, QD.

kates brother had it, he drove it up until about 10 years ago when the motor went. since then it has just sat collecting rust :D

Man those pics of those roadsters are nice! Good luck with restoring yours, that car is a real good find! it's sleak, classy, and can be quick all in one package! Can't beat that! But again good luck with the car! Also How much did you pay for it?
