So I have a LS/Vtec engine and if i dont sell it i need a chassis to put it in. I cant decide what i want to do. i dont want anything typical (i.e. civic, integra). I was thinking along the lines of a CD accord or something older. Maybe a mini if i could find one of the older ones, but i dont even know where to start looking for one.

Anyone have any suggestions?

ill be honest that you are looking for WAY TOO MUCH money and work for that kind of swap.

Older accord or any accord chassis is going to be a complete nightmare in terms of logistics not to mention weight. I mean what good is an NA motor in a 2700-3000 lb car. Might as well put a b16 in a CRV.

Mini is cool ,but its been done alot an its not easy either.

You are talking about HOURS AN HOURS of wiring, fabrication, engineering, etc.

You have to ask yourself what you want. If a fun street car is what you are after, then there is a reason why guys do Civics, they are cheap, light , EASY to swap an wont break your wallet.

Very valid points, and much appreciated. I havent completely ruled out civics, just wanted to try something different.

Not if you're doing a swap into a 1st gen Civic. It's not as bad as some may think it is. Later, QD.
