View Full Version : Is the FBI watching me?

I was looking through the files in my C drive yester day, and came upon a hidden file that was recently created on my comp. The file name is system.sav. When I opened it, I see multiple refrences to CIA and FBI. One of the files say that it is a HP service file and that it can be deleted, but I found an automatic loader for a .zip file. So it will reinstall itself even if I do delete it. I went online to check what it was, and I stumbled across a few forums where other people didn't know what it was. Evidently the file was installed on a wide range of computer brands, so I know it's not an HP service now.
Does anyone else have this file on their comp.? If you set your comp. to not hide any files or folders, it should be under C:\ system.sav
It basically has every bit of information about your comp. stored in it, from what hardware you have installed all the way to google searches.

it's a system recovery file bundled with premade comps. if it bothers you, run http://dban.sourceforge.net/ to format and when you install windows, don't use the bundled cd **** that came with the hp.
