Just ran one last night on the dyno before the Athens Sonic Roll-In and it was pretty decent for a street car. Customer has dyno sheet and wants more but he is well over 600+++in a 5th gear / 15psi roll from 60mph-160mph and it will go more in 5th and still has 6th. I think it will hit 200+mph with the right driver, dude also has a wayyy bad Cobra SVT he ran, almost as nasty.

I did not think it would pull that hard on the street but I was badly mistaken, it will be a 10sec car once traction issues are addressed.

If you want that kind of performance save up about $15-20K.

You may prove me wrong, and congratulations if you do, but to drop almost a full second by adding sticky tires is a lot to do when you really arent struggling for traction in the first place. I had 240hp and 230tq in the G and "12sec" wasnt even in my vocabulary.

billy, i know my car isnt omg fast, but i would say its in the top 10 of VQ de cars out there as far as power output. and once j tibbs gets back to me about my data log hopefully i pickup my peak hp where i need too, sucks not to have a good reliable Z shop in atl. sorry not a sharif fan: overpriced + cocky + bad stories about him blowing up cars = not getting my money.

The reason I say sell it and get a v8 is because I have a G35 and I am selling it because I bought an 04 cobra. If I put $7K in the G35 for a supercharger kit installed and tuned, It still wouldnt be as quick as my STOCK Cobra. More cylinders DOESNT ALWAYS equal more power, true, but if you take power adders out of the equation, then mo cyl. mo powa.

Driver mod is the best thing for any car, especially when you are throwing more HP on the car. I agree that putting hte HP you have to good use is better than just throing more power at the equation.

Cobra that usually has 390 bhp and is 500 lbs heavier than my car. With bolt-ons maybe hitting the 340 rwhp mark. From what I have witnessed and read online capable of low 13's
My car has a little over 300 awhp and has the advantage of all wheel drive. Running constant mis 12's

Noah (that 350z's owner) had plan to use the LSX. Fully built block putting around 1000whp then plant o run N2O in additional.

But with parts availalibity + limited time, they had to put the LS2 in there. He still has the LSX block sitting at Hinson, waiting for parts and such (last I checked).

Not trying to bail out or anything but I strictly race on tracks. Always have and always will. When I say play with I mean from a red light to about 10mph over the speed limit only. Racing on the street is dangerous and it is hard to have enough time for a good line up and a launch. Power too you though and I hope everyone has fun and returns safely.

If anyone wants to hit up Renolds or Commerse this summer I will be happy to oblige.

the 4.2 bore would be a wast of money in my opinion. Great power is being made without these now. just do a simple built motor and run a reliable 550 whp.

yeah Bam's car is the one I was drawing experience from. There are people making his power levels now without a stroker. His car is sick no doubt though. He wishes he had didi some things differently now though. +1 on the 4.2L not being worth the money. The gains are minimal and I think it makes the engine less reliable. Built motor with Cosworth plenum and you are set. I hope to get a new set up by this fall, probably Forged S1 shortblock with Cosworth plenum and either HKS Fcon or Haltech EMS, still undecided.

In any case, I would get some quality coilovers, sway bars, and some kickass wheels and tires. Tein's coilovers are actually very good and reasonably priced...just stay away from their springs. As for wheels, get some light forged rims and some sticky tires, then proceed to drive the piss out of it. :goodjob:

If you'd like more power they make supercharger kits that'll set your world on fire from what I've heard. Try vortech maybe?

Thanks man. Yeah just let them keep thinking that too lol. The exhaust is pretty dep and mellow really, what you are hearing are the open wastegate dumps. It does get loud as hell, but i love it. It's fun to scare unsuspecting people on the road lol. What were you driving?
