ok so i am rebuilding my SI yet again. trying to decide on what wheels to roll on

car will either be white or a keiser silver (its a dark silver)

keep in mind i can paint the wheels any color also

i have owned both sets of wheels i am considering but with the axis i didnt have the suspension to pull it off. give me opinions or even tell me a diff wheel if you can think of one

the car will be lowered more in the rear if i keep the 17s. i also have the aem big rotor kit in the front so i will loose that if i go back to 15s

17" racing hart cp10 (on car now)

the 17's actually look pretty good on there, but i still think thats 2 big for a civic. go with the old skools man. they were clean on the car!

I think either would be good but maybe the first ones but in a smaller size would look good.

cp-10's because you can't go wrong with white on white...:goodjob:
also the axis old skools are played out ....

I think normally I'd vote for the Axis wheels, but they just look too small for the car in this case. Maybe the different suspension would help...but I dunno, I think I'd go with a set of 16s with whichever wheel you decide.

The BUCKY
03-31-2008, 04:35 PM
well you cant get the cp10 anymore. and i dont think they ever had them in 16s

and the old school only comes in 15

Haha and then comes the predicament.

I'd say cp10 out of the two in that case.

In my opinion wide lips on FWD's look ridiculous and 16" is by far the best size for the Civic/DC Integra chassis.

i would choose cp10 out of those 2, but I think your car would look better with something else.

I agree, 17's a just a tad too big, and 15's a tad too small.. But being a former Dubber, small and wide are where it's at.. I say some kind of 16x8..

if you disagree please provide examples. i would like some sprint harts but 2k for wheels is deff not in the budget for the car

man.. i was debating the same thing bucky - car looks sick by the way!!!
I was looking at some 15" axis or 17" privat netz.
I ended up putting 18" on it and I love it.

So its up to you bro but the 17's look really clean man.

Here is a pic of my car! Good luck on deciding :goodjob:

a nice set of 16" wheels look nice on your EM1
I say go with the Advan RG wheels or Enkei OR52 (the look alike wheel)

as much as I love the axis- on that civic I say go with the Racing Harts- I kinda miss my old C5evolutions. But I love the lower rotating mass of my 14"-ers

Honestly, you have to look at what aspect your going for. If you want performance then stay with the cp 10's. If you want looks then go with the Axis. IMO id keep the cp's because your able to have the big brake kit and that is worth it. The cp's look sexy aswell. The axis are very played out and being "JDM tyte" is becoming played out aswell. Do something different and keep the cp's. And if im not mistaken you have to have 17" for the big brakes to fit.

stckick with the axis wheels or throw some blades on it. the axis wheels would look better if the car were dropped more
