Had these custom made by a friend. Oak, turned on a lathe, and coated in polyurethane What you guys think??

I understand... tell him I might steal his idea for me only... I won't go marketing them, but I never thought about making a shift knob (and now I feel dumb for that lol) so I might call some people and make my own.

it looks good but i'm not feeling it simply because i like darker woods like cherry. otherwise nice **** man.

^^THat's the nice thing about the lathe... you can do any wood. I'm gonna look for some ebony or mahogany for mine. :D

I have one in Cherry that we tried. Next run we'll try some darker woods ;)

^^Be sure to sharpen your turners before going to darker woods.. darker generally equals harder, with the exception of oak lol
