bump! One hour left before the lights go out.

It might not make a differance but it does address and recognize a problem.

Why couldn't they make it like 8am since it would be daylight?

longest hour EVER! After turning all the lights back on and the a/c, im not sure 1 hr makes any difference at all, especially one day of the year..... but for some reason i hesitated to turn anything back on :P

You should have watched the video in the link I provided. Last year, in Sydney alone, they said 2.2 million people participated and during that time, energy production was down 10.2% in that hour. That was equal to keeping 48,000 cars off the road as well. 10% is not a bad number. Later, QD.

But your truck's fumes make up for those 48K when you drive up and down the US......;)

If a tapeworm stops munching on your intestines for one hour (or even a day) does it really make a difference? Why can't the human race realize that we are parasites and we will inevitably kill this entire planet. But whatever makes us fossil fuel gulping car people sleep better at night.

Lol. I didn't even know about this. I helped out unknowingly because I wasn't at home. I did have the computer on however, and the Honda was posted @ someone else's house.:D
