Couple shots of my Uncles garage. He retired this year from Del Worshams crew in the NHRA Funny Car Circuit. He just works on big trucks now, and builds cars for people. He is building a 400hp Jeep rock crawler for some guy.
3 of many rods and pistons from blown drag motors. He makes Del sign a rod fom every motor that blows up.

The only thing my uncle tells people is "oh **** its all stock" so I have no idea but it will melt those huge rear tires and pull the wheels off the ground at the same time. It did have wheelie bars on it but he just got a quad and they both wont fit in the garage with the bars on.

Power to weight ftw. :goodjob:
He was happy that he scared me. He was there the first time I drove around Lowes Motor Speedway in a Richard Petty Driving Experience car at 145, the next year I did it at 156. He did't think he would scare me.......he did. He also scared the **** out of my sister.

of course i must rep you for this. :goodjob:
all that power with such a light car = recipe for awesomeness. Do you know if the body is fiberglass, original, steel reproduction....?

Fiberglass, some guy had it in his garage for years and never got around to building anything so he gave it to him. He is going to sell it when he gets the interior done (we sat of rubber pads but it did have seat belts) he wants to build another with a steel body.

I love it...in my wildest dreams I will own one. With that 454 in it...it must ride like a motorcycle with 4 wheels....SICK ACCELERATION.....gotta love power to weight ratios.

your uncle is a MAD MAN! just my kinda person! gotta love those old world engine builders, so much knowledge and most of them are humble and willing to teach. my favorite teacher ever was my gas engines teacher in tech school, he was a retired engine builder, he and i talked up a whole lunch break more than once.

hey! hahaha, i was gonna make a thread for the one i saw today, but then i saw this.
It's my dad's friend's car, i'm assuming it's a t-bucket like your uncles. i dont really know much about it, only saw it for a minute, just enough time to snap sum pics. If i didn't have to go to work right when he drove up, i would have took a ride in it for sure!

that car looks dangerous... dangerous like a fox, of course.
hmm. im not sure, if the 454 in the other one was built up, i suppose a supercharged small block would be rather comparable.
