I'm going to buy a 02 sensor soon and install it in my car but i dont know where to install it and how to connect it to the Ecu.

Thinking of buying that for my Jdm f22b prelude with a H23 Ecu. Its from Ebay And it says its for h23 so im wondering how i should connect this.

it is really simple man. which one is it the secondary or the first? if its the first the easiest what is to remove the header. just follow the wire to the plug and unplug the remove the header the bam just take a wrench and do it to it. some times you might need to soak it in wd-40 and put the header in a vice and give it hell. then just put the new one in it and tighten down and plug it back in its really simple. just look. or you could buy a haynes manual.

i forgot to add this... the only thing with this is that if you car is a real jdm motor sometimes the plugs are different. all tho i dunno i got a primary o2s for my d16y7 and the o2 said it was jdm lol mine was from ebay as well so you never kno just make sure the plugs match and you'll be good to go.

i dont think i have a hole in my header since i have a DC headers. will i have to drill a hole and weld a nut on it?

yours should have a hole for this it might be at the end of the header where it mounts to the cat. some vary from header to header to where the o2's are placed

be prepared to have to turn the sh!t out of it. o2 sensors are notorious for getting siezed in. When you replace it, put a little anti-sieze on it.

And if you have DC headers, there should be a bung down by where it connects to the cat. If you need to extend the wires, just splice some in and then cover the whole thing with electrical tape/wire loom to protect it from heat.

go get pblaster, wd 40 or lubercating oil of some sort... I used a big cresent wrench and some thick gloves cuz your gonna have to put your bak in to it to twist it off!! sounds like a knuckle smasher to me! good luck! on a 92 their should only be one 0s sensor located on the downpipe on a duel or single cam motor. Install is no brainer plug it up and screw it in!!:goodjob:

you will need a 7/8 wrench or 22mm wrench to take it off

^^Is it really that big? Been a while since I took one off... I thought it was an 18 or so.

Your best friend is getting a wratcheting wrench, unplugging the sensor, threading the wiring through the hole and settling the wratcheting end over the nut... more points of contact = more better.

And prepare to bust your knuckles wide open, btw
