Need some help from artists for education

Alright guys and ladies- I need your help! As you may or may not know I am a teacher. One of the activities I work with is F1 in schools. Currently my team of middle schoolers are the state champions and we are in the process of changing over out name and mascot. We are going from the Track Ready Cougars to PoleCat Racing. What I am looking for is a mascot- A polecat is another name for a skuink so what I had in mind was a skunk with wheels for legs an open faced helmet- but I leave it to the artist. I am going to make a scan of what I have in mind, but I am not an artist.

Cliffs- None- This was as short as i could get it. If you want to know more pm me. any help will be appreciated and we can even list you as a sponsor!

I dont need any writing- just a picture- it can be in all black and white- it will be what I put on all the kids buisness cards and on our display board at nationals, and it will be on our pats facility- basically, alot of free coverage all over the place.

My vision is a mean badas$ skunk with an openface helmet and open wheel F1 wheels for the legs.

i know, I did the same thing, but if you keep going there are skunks too (like 3 of them). but, if you do a web search or image search of "what is a damn polecat" as I did you will get skunks. :goodjob:

They are all part of the same family (genus). remeber back to biology with genus and species?:thinking:

a skunk is in the same family as a polecat... as they are all in the "weasel" family.... but they look more like a ferret....

imo i would go with something that looked more like a ferret/weasel than a skunk....

I loved th polecat result too

We are using the skunk because we fabricate all our own parts and we are located near Lockheed, and they have let us use their ginormous wind tunnel and let us tour their facilities, who has the Skunkworks where they build all their parts. We are, in essence, getting our own skunkworks- the "polecat works". plus we are the wildcats, to there is all the best parts rolled into one- it requires way to much explination I guess, but it will b d shat.

We ahve already gone international twice, once to Australia and once to Malaysia- this year i am hoping to take nationals and go to London.

hey man. Talked to my buddy yesterday and he is still working on the drawing. His sister has been in the hospital barely holding on. diagnosed with cancer and her immune system is pretty much gone so it's been kind of rough. He wanted me to tell you sorry and he is trying to get it to me ASAP so I can send it to you

She is alright... kinda... just has to go to hospital every week almost cause she gets really sick and he stays up there with her. But he is working on it and really wants to get it to ya. (he just loves doing artwork and wants his work out there for people to see) But I will let you know when he finishes it... Oh btw, the family thanks ya for the thoughts... When is the latest you need this?

Just whenever- my team is sticking with the name we started the season with. I am looking to make this the mascot for out machine shop so as soon as he has time. I am changing my teams name for next year to this and all the other schools that use our shop are going to have some form of the mascot on the cars- So as of right now his artwork will be on at least 6 other cars, it will be the basis for my cars paintjob, and it will be all over our schools machine shop.
