You did a VERY good job for being your first time :goodjob:
Thanks, I really didn't want it to look half assed so I spent a bit of time on it.

what did you do just sand it down and polish like hell?
I wetsanded it and made sure to go right to left always never up and down, started with 800 grit(awful idea, I thought my manifold was much smoother than it actually was) and worked my way up to 2000 grit. I always kept a lot of wd40 on the sandpaper and manifold and made sure to wipe it every so often. Then rubbed mothers aluminum and metal polish into it until I saw the polish turn black then I would wipe it off and repeat. I think it was well worth the effort.

Go for it, its really easy.
Get to it.

looks good you gonna do the valve cover too?
Thanks, Im going to try every part but the top near the coil packs. With all the issues our cars have with coil packs I am hesitant to even take them out to remove the valve cover.
