i wonder if they will sell the seats and motor?? lololz.. the r35 seats are sick.
But yea, i read that u have to sign a modification clause. Any mod voids warranty. engaging circuit mode voids warranty. And any modification just about will throw a code and lock the car done.

You know most cars have it so that mods void the warranty, not just the GTR.

That's ridiculous, how can a car company that has the brains to engineer a car like this be so stupid as to have a no modification clause?
I guess either way they will probably sell all of the ones that they release, so it doesn't matter much to them.

The GTR has a black box (like the ones on airplanes) and it records speeds, rpms, everything. And on the Jap version (dunno about the USDM) when you start to drive it hard (like on a course) it will ask if you want to engage "Circuit Mode." If you choose yes then the warranty is automatically voided.
Top Secrets GTR only has an exhaust and Suspension. According to them, surprisingly the exhaust didnt throw a code, but just about everything does.
The deal with the warranty is also why JUN Auto hasnt been doing anything with the GTR.

That's so retarded of Nissan to do. Sure, void the warranty... no surprise there. Most cars will void the warranty if you mod them, but the car locking down.. that's just dumb.
****tay about that one. There was one that was wrecked literally 48 hours after their release. Dude who was on the waiting list got it and bombed it. :(

Vehicle Care
Your Nissan GT-R has incredible performance potential. In order to enjoy the best driving experience possible and keep your warranty in full effect, please follow these vehicle care tips:
1. Always take your vehicle in for the required Performance Optimization Services mentioned in the Benefits of Ownership section. It's free and will help keep your Nissan GT-R at peak performance.
2. Keep up with your regular scheduled maintenance.
3. Your Nissan GT-R has already been expertly engineered for maximum performance. Avoid modifications to your GT-R such as alterations to:
• Electronic Control Unit
• Transmission
• Engine
• Ride Height
Additional Vehicle Support
Extended Service Contracts and other support for your vehicle are available through your Nissan GT-R Certified Dealer.

With the dealer markup to $120k+, and the fact that you cannot even change the wheels without getting a CEL makes the GTR not nearly as cool to me.
IMO they shouldn't have advertised this as the "Poor man's supercar" if you won't see their original advertised prices for at least a year. I'd rather get a C6ZO6 for cheaper and have thousands left over to mod it.

Judging by the stop sign that's in Malaysia.
Don't see a reason why that car would be totaled anyways, it'll be back on the road in no time
